PLACES TO VISIT IN VIGO

Beaches: like Samil or Vao, which are very famous on the Galician coast. If you go by car, maybe you could find parking problems though. Sometimes the best option is to take a bus such as the C15C,C3, or C15A. You can also enjoy the views of the Cies Islands or the best sunset from the beach. But in summer it's a problem to go there because there are always a lot of people. Not always do you have to have a swim or sunbathe, you can just walk along the beach.

Restaurants in 'La Piedra': probably if you are wealthy you can pay for a delicious seafood dish. But don't eat too much of that because you could have stomachache or stomach problems.

Castro is a place that is considered like a park because it has a lot of things. It's a good place for taking photos or going for a walk.If you have children they can learn to ride a bike because there is a little close circuit. There are also little playgrounds for kids and they're great fun for them. Castro is situated behind the city centre. The problem is you have to go up a steep street to get there.

Cíes Islands: you can visit the most beautiful beaches in the world, on the Cíes Islands. They are in front of city centre. You can go there by ship and enjoy the sea from the ship's deck.
You should buy the tickets in the port; they cost about €5.

PUB'S: A night out in Vigo means Arenal, which is in the city centre near the marina and port. There, you can find a lot of terraces, where you can have a drink, for example, a cocktail, or dance. One of them, Twenty Century Rock, has good music on Saturday nights, and has a great decoration, inspired by the eighties.

Airport: Vigo has a poor airport: there are few planes, and few destinations, which connect Vigo with Madrid and Vigo with Barcelona. The airport is very big in comparison with its capacity. Often there're some temporary exhibitions, related with nature. Close to the airport, there's a panoramic trail, called the GR53, which is very useful for people who enjoy outdoors activities and sport.
