There are a lot of different options in Vigo, when you think in eating. The city has an incredible variety of gastronomy, mostly based in the sea (in this case, your objective is 'la Piedra'in front of the harbour, where you can degustate expensive seafood) but there are options for all tastes....
If you like fast food, you can chose the same options you'll find around the world: Mc Donalds in Beach Samil or in Urzaiz Street, in the centre city.
If you like home made hamburguers or fresh rolls, you should visit Bahía Blanca Bar, at the head of Travesía de Vigo, next to the big roundabout. They serve good  quality food, and price is razonable (one fresh made ham sandwich costs over  3 euros).
If you prefer take a salad or one mixed dish, you can visit the CC Gran Vía, situated  at the end of the Gran Vía avenue. There are a lot of restaurants that offers a big variety of services: an vegetarian restaurant, one chinese free bouffet or one mediterranean free bouffet. In these places, for 10 euros, more or less, you can eat everything you want(drink is not included). The limit is the capacity of your stomach!!.Very recomendable for greedy people. In the same CC, you can find, of course, the typical fast food restaurant Mac donalds.
If you like wine, beer or tapas, you can visit the snack bars of Rosalia de Castro, the posh zone of the city, ubicated near the port. Here you can enjoy some tapas of octopus or squid , accompanied by the best wines  or imported beers.
